Do you know what makes me happy? This sweet wedding at the
Sterling Hotel in Sacramento. This historic Mansion makes me giddy because of it’s vintage and elegant charm. In the heart of downtown Sacramento, it has the perfect mix of luxury and elegance, the perfect place for Stephanie and Cess’s wedding day.
After meeting through mutual work friends, they realized they were both Denver Broncos fans!! Cess and Stephanie’s first official date was at de Vere’s
Irish Pub in downtown Sacramento. His initial proposal plan was to ask the big question at the pub but couldn’t due to their closure for renovations. Instead, he proposed next door and was still able to make it quite romantic and special. It turned out even better than expected as their friends who were working at the time were able to capture it all on their phones.
For the wedding day, this cute couple insisted on going back to where it all started. Directly after their ceremony, we headed off to their first date spot. We took some sweet photos of the two of them hanging out at de Vere’s, and toasting to their new life together. According to the couple, the pretzel is amazing and it is a must try when visiting the Irish Pub. Just thinking about it makes my tummy grumble!
Being at the end of March, the weather can be a little unpredictable in Northern California. The forecast predicted a steady rain, however, to our relief, it held off just in time to take some gorgeous photos outside. I just love the steps that lead up to the quaint vintage mansion so we took full advantage.
I could not get enough of Stephanie’s gorgeous dress! Paired with her elegant veil and surrounded by her beautiful entourage in mauve it was stunning!
It was an honor to capture all the beautiful moments of the day.
