This was one of those sweep-you-off-your-feet kind of engagement shoots. Brijal and Adam chose to take a romantic stroll on Marshall’s Beach in San Francisco for their breathtaking engagement shoot. If you aren’t familiar with the beach, it’s one of the best locations for stunning views of the ocean and Golden Gate Bridge. The small, rugged section of shoreline is great for catching the breeze, exploring, and spotting aquatic life. Because the remote area is not ideal for families who want to play in the sand, it’s usually less crowded and perfect for an intimate photo session.
The strong wind that day gave the photos stunning vitality. I love the carefree, windswept look of the images. These two were so caught up in the moment, they didn’t even mind the wind too much. Plus, we found a few spots away from the breeze where we could still see the Golden Gate very clearly. Brijal’s flowing red maxi dress and fur scarf added to the romance of the session even more! She also wore a beautiful yellow traditional Indian dress called an Anarkali Suit – she looked radiant!
Their story:
“We came into each other’s life at a really good time – literally the best timing. Adam and I actually matched on Tinder in 2016 – shocking. We talked for about a week or two and then had our first date. Our eyes first met at Ace of Spades in Sacramento on a Saturday night in February.”
And this is just part one of their engagement photos! Because he proposed in Napa where they had their first weekend getaway, they’ll be doing a second session in Napa at the end of June! It will be so much fun for them to have photos from two distinct, yet meaningful places!
Congratulations, Brijal and Adam!
