Billy and Andra’s wedding was kind of a like a big High School reunion! The couple has known each other since High School, but didn’t start dating until later in life. Billy is not just good friends with my brother, but I was a cheerleader with Andra! So I have known these two for quite some time. Being able to be part of their wedding day was a huge honor!

They chose the beautiful Landing Resort and Spa on Lake Tahoe for their wedding. This boutique venue sits right on Lake Tahoe, with stunning views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. It really takes your breath away! While it looked like it might rain, the sun came out and it was the most beautiful day.

Andra and her bridesmaids got ready in the hotel, and had so much fun popping champagne and celebrating! Andra wore a stunning lace mermaid gown, with sparkle all over. After the couple’s first look in the hotel, we went to the woods for some portraits. The bride had a large bouquet, filled with eucalyptus, anemones, and soft blush and cream roses. Billy wore a navy suit, that looked great with the navy bridesmaids. But the most special guest? Their beloved pup, Allie! Allie was included in every part of their wedding, from getting ready, to the portraits, to the ceremony!

After their portraits, guests were escorted to the lakefront ceremony, right on the beach. The water was the most sparkling shade of blue, and was perfect. Billy’s daughter was a huge part of the wedding, who wrote her own vows to the bride and groom. It was a complete tearjerker – there was not a dry eye in the room! It meant so much to the two to have his daughter part of their wedding day. 

As the sunset, guests enjoyed the cocktail hour on the terrace, overlooking Lake Tahoe. This Grand Rooftop Terrace has panoramic views of the coastline, and was the best spot for drinks and family. Their wedding reception included lots of greenery and gold accents. As a gift for guests, Billy and Andra had pine trees for everyone to plant! It was such a fun gift, and a nod to their wedding location. After a quick outfit change, into flip flops and a comfy dress, Andra danced the night away with her new husband, and family! These two mean so much to me, and I’m so thankful I got to photograph their day. Congratulations, Billy and Andra!
