Karey of Hazy Lane Studios organized a team of amazing vendors. She announced that she would be putting together a stylized shoot in the tri-valley area through her blog and social media, and invited other talented photographers to join her. What a fantastic idea! I knew that this would be a big hit so I did not hesitate to sign up. I am always looking for great networking groups to meet other vendors as wells as meet other photographers in the industry. And it just so happened that I was in the middle of re-branding and designing a new website. It would also give me a chance to show my future brides some great ideas and introduce them to some other talented creatives in the industry.

The venue, Handles Gastropub (The Old Pleasanton Hotel) made the perfect backdrop for the sweet and charming spring theme designed by the amazing and talented Lindsay of Lindsay Lauren Events. If you are looking for a quaint and beautiful venue for your wedding in Pleasanton this is the place for you. It has a beautiful courtyard set up for the perfect outside ceremony and reception.

Many brides are going towards the uncovered layered look for their wedding cake. It is definitely the new trend these days. I just love it! Designed by Kristie’s Cake and creations, the cake was so charming, so simple in its details but yet so elegant.  It was the first thing that caught my eye!

The table was beautifully designed, lined with elegant vases filled with blush and white flowers. The floral china by Bella Fine China added that touch of sweetness. So cute!

I have a bit of a sweet tooth and I wanted to dig right into these cupcakes made by Cat’s Cupcakery. Its always nice to add a little extra sweetness to the dessert table. Some brides even go without the wedding cake and offering cupcakes to their guests.

We had beautiful models dressed in bridal gowns by J’aime Bridal.

I believe getting your hair and makeup done by a professional on your wedding is so important. Makeup by Adele and Hairstylist Ashley Strasburg did an amazing job styling our beautiful models for the this shoot.

Veils are out and hair embellishments are in! If you are looking for dress embellishments or unique headpieces check out Something Treasured. They provided beautiful accessories for our shoot.

It is nice to add a lounge area in the reception space for your guests to relax and enjoy. Rentals by Hartmann Studios.Invitations/print work by Natalia Maria Designs.

As I mentioned early having a lounge area for guests during the reception can add some personality to your reception space. You can also add some details in the lounge area to keep your guests engaged. I know after dancing the night away I am always up for something sweet, like macaroons from Creme Si Bon…mmmm so delicious!

Handles is in the middle of downtown Pleasanton. The town has lots of history making it sweet and charming and perfect for some unique photo opportunities.

I had such a great time working with the other talented photographers and meeting all the vendors. This event was so well organized and just overall a fun shoot! Thanks Karey for putting this together I can’t wait for the next one!!
