Highlight of the past week: Kara and Bryan’s Wedding

This week was a fun and relaxing week. It was catch up after a crazy and fun birthday weekend. The sunsets in Rancho Murieta have been so beautiful. I ‘ve been working, reading and just hanging out on our back deck. As I was enjoying the sunset one evening, I was entertained by a family of deer. The sunset, the deer, the lush greens screamed for my camera. It was just so beautiful!

I found a cool 35mm Canon AE-1. I’ve been wanting to get back into film. I took some photos up in Lotus and they are being scanned right now. I can’t to see how they turned out!

This week I also spent some time working on my new sample albums from Graphistudios! I just love love their albums and will be offering them to my future Brides.  Stay tuned for the launch of my new website and albums.

The highlight of the whole week was Kara and Bryan’s wedding! They got hitched in Halfmoon Bay at a western themed wedding venue called Long Branch Saloon. BBQ Pit and all it was fun rustic western style wedding and I am looking forward to sharing some of my favorites. The next morning on Mother’s Day before heading home my assistant, Allison and I decided to stop by Chrissy Fields in San Francisco to take some Golden Gate Bridge shots. How could we not?! It was a beautiful clear morning and I could never pass up San Francisco. It was Mother’s Day so we only stayed just enough to take a few shots and then we headed home to celebrate Mothers Day.
