Every wedding always evokes something emotional in me and I would lie if I said that I haven’t shed a tear during my couple’s moments, but the wedding of Ariana and Austin was a highlight for me. It was my FIRST wedding of the year! I have photographed their Engagement Party, Engagement Session, their Intimate Wedding at home, and now their Grand Island Mansion Wedding! Having been a part of their love journey, I can say I got to know their family very well, and words cannot express how blessed I feel to have been there for them!

We still had the lingering uncertainty of the pandemic and wondered how everything will be pulled off… but let me tell you, it was the most amazing day EVER! Even with the masks, constant sterilization, and no dancing rule, love and laughter couldn’t be stopped nor canceled! 

Luxury Wedding at the Grand Island Mansion

Ariana and Austin chose the luxury eloquent Grand Island Mansion for their wedding celebration. This Renaissance styled villa located at the heart of Sacramento river delta, it is one of the largest private estates in Northern California. When you enter this mansion it will take your breath away as you gaze upon the classical beauty of its historical grandeur.

Ariana and her bridesmaids had much fun getting ready, sharing laughs, and celebrating. Her bridesmaids wore two-piece designer dresses with the softest blush tones, while she was a vision in her magnificently detailed ball gown. Must admit I actually had so much fun with the boys too who were relaxing with a few pool sessions, looking sharp and flawlessly elegant for this black-tie wedding.

Before the ceremony started, I ventured around crushing on every single detail, taking countless photos that led me to the garden where Ariana and Austin had their first-look portrait session! They could melt an iceberg with their love, it was truly an ode to the romantic hearts! 

As they originally had to postpone and hold an intimate wedding at home, I made it my mission to capture every single laugh and smile, every single sigh, tear, and toast. From the ceremony, the individual sessions, to the celebration – I photographed it all! The day was beautiful and the estate was dreamy, with a soft breeze and an enchanting sunset that left an artful imprint on the creation of their visual memories. 

Even though dancing was not allowed, Ariana and Austin had their first dance under the celestial lights and it was magical! What got me even more emotional was the dance with her father. Loving those father-daughter moments they are so special don’t you think? After that, all guests played lawn games and laughed the night away.
